Nursery

Bryan just got done putting together all of the furniture for the nursery this morning. Here are some pictures of the nursery. My mom is going to order Preston's name in different animals to go along with the room. We still need to get some pictures up on the wall but all and all it is done!

Well Bryan and I went to the doctor today to have our ultrasound. The doctor was running late due to an emergency c section. I am use to it becasue every appointment but the first one has been late due to some one having a baby or emergency c-section. I am okay with this because I know that when it is our time to deliver that I will come first. He looked at the head and the body size. He was able to point out to us the heart, stomach, brain, and other parts but i only noticed these three things. At the end of our appointment he told us that he was 95% a boy!!!! Preston Michael Mercer is due to be born on 7/10/09. Doctor thinks he will be early around 7/4/09. Bryan is one proud dad. He called everyone as soon as we left the doctor's office. It was very cute. I dont go back to the doctor until April 24th. I will keep you all posted. We only got one picture of Preston and it is not very good but i will upload it for any one to see. It is of his face.

Baby Shower and Family Visit

This weekend mom, Trisha, Morgan and Trey came to visit. We had a blast here are a few things that we did while they were here.

Saturday we went to the hockey game.

Sunday was the baby shower.

Monday we did Helen Kellers house and Space and rocket center.

Tuesday we went to the park to feed the ducks and went to the St. Patty's day parade. I dont have any of these pictures I have to wait until mom sends them to me. Tuesday night mom also painted the nursery and bryan needs to do the edging and then we can start putting together the baby furniture. I will post something on Thursday with the sex of the baby! We are very excited and cant wait.

Update

Okay since i have not updated this thing in like 2 months I will give you all a little update. I went to the doctor on Feb 3rd and the doctor was happy will everything and told me the heartbeat was 148. I talked to the doctor about rearranging my Dr appointment for the ultrasound so that my mom and sister could be here when we found out the sex. So i scheduled the appointment for March 17th and another check up on Feb 26.

I went to the doctor on Feb 26 and found out the baby was doing well and did not like the heart monitor. The baby kept kicking it off. I thought it was really funny which did not help the tech. The baby's heartbeat was between 141 to 151. When i went to the front desk they told me the office was going to be closed on March 17th and needed to reschedule my appointment. Everyone who knows me knows that I am very emotional and now that i am pregnant it does not help. It was every thing that i could do keep it together long enough to reschedule the appointment for March 26th, which is a month later than we could have found out.

I left the doctors office and called Bryan. He did not understand why they allowed me to make the appointment 6 weeks in advanced if they were going to be closed. So everything is going well and we are looking forward to finding out the sex on March 26th. Mom and Trisha wont be here but we will call them on the phone when we find out.

Bryan and I have started cleaning out the baby's room. Bryan is going to be scraping the ceiling this week. Mom and Trisha are going to help me paint the room and get it ready so we can put the crib and changing table together. I will post pictures of our visit with Mom and Trisha in 2 weeks.
