Baby Mercer

I just wanted to send out a little note to let everyone know that Bryan and I are expecting. We are due July 1oth. Here is the picture of our first ultrasound. We got to see the baby dance. It was very cute. Here is a picture of Preston (if its a boy) and Emerson (if its a girl).

We are expecting. I am due July 10th. I am trying to post our first ultrasound picture but it wont let me. We got to see the baby dance. It was very cute. We have our next doctors appointment on Jan 6th. I am very excited.

Weight Loss

This is a before Picture!!!!

I just wanted do a little update since it has been about 2 months. I recently decided that I was going to start working out with a personal trainer to lose some weight. I dont know if everyone knows but i was diagnosed in May with Hypothyroidism. I was told that i would lose the weight that i gained once i started the medication. That was not the case at all. I actually gained more weight. I talked to the doctor and he put me on a 1500 calorie diet on the 8th of October. I am a little over 5 weeks in and I am happy to announce i have lost 15 lbs. I am very excited because i want to lose another 8 before I go to NM. I have about 4 weeks and 4 days to get these 8 lbs off. I just wanted to share becasue I am so excited!!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend! I dont have a recent picture but i took one with the cameria this morning and will post it this weekend after we go to Atlanta!

Renovations

Bryan and I have been renovating the livingroom.

When we bought the house it had panelling in the living room and popcorn ceilings. Bryan and I decided that we would pull down all of the paneling and put up drywall.

In the process of destroying the panelling we found out that we did not have any installation in one of the walls. It took about a week to pull down all of the panelling and to scrape the ceiling. After the ceiling was scraped we noticed that the taping job sucked and needed to fix it.

Bryan worked for about a week trying to get the taping job right. Bryan, Gini (my mother-in-law) and I hung drywall the next weekend. Gini and i were not that great of help because we did not have a clue what to do. Gini's admirer came over and hung drywall with Bryan. Tommy and Bryan were able to put up the drywall on 2 walls in 1 hour and it took Bryan Gini and I 2 hours to do one wall.

Bryan and I had a electrician come to the house and put in recessed lighting. Home depot came in the following day and put in new capet with extra thick padding. (I LOVE IT) Bryan and I had everyone over for Labor Day weekend to show off the new room. Here are some before and after pictures of our livingroom.

Disneyworld

At the beginning of May, Bryan and I met up with Trisha, Marvin and the kiddos at Disney World. Here are just some of the pictures from our trip. This was a ton of fun. Bryan and I got to the hotel late on Monday night and went to go and see the Franz family in there room and after about 10 minutes of visiting and saying hi, Trey asked us to leave because he needed to get some sleep. We understood and left and met back up with them on the next morning.

We spent the first day in Epcot. We rode Mission Space and Test track. Trey really enjoyed the Mission Space and Morgan did not like it and so Trisha and Morgan went into the Big Golf Ball while we rode Mission Space 2 more times.

The next day we spent at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studio's. For those of you that have been before you know this park as MGM Studios. We enjoyed watching Lights Motor Action as well as the Indian Jones Stunt Show. Trey spent the rest of the trip play fighting and punching Bryan and Marvin. Every once in a while he would do it to Trisha or me. He really enjoyed it.

During this day, Morgan went with Trisha got all gussied up. Trisha and Marvin wanted her to do the princess package and Morgan went with the Diva look. Morgan expressed to Trisha that she is going up but would always be their little girl but she is growing up.

We went to dinner at Cinderella's Castle. We got to meet her Fairy godmother and Cinderella.

On Thursday we spent the whole day in Magic Kingdom. We had a great time. We rode all of the rides and some of them we rode twice. Our favorite rides were Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.


On Friday which was the Franz's Family last day we spent the day at the water park and then go to the Princess and Pirates party in Magic Kingdom. Trey did not enjoy the water park as much as Morgan did. Trey was ready to go home and play baseball. We have not gotten the pictures developed from this day but we all got to ride the "huge" wave. We had a great time and really enjoyed the sun so much we all got fried.

At the Princess and Pirates party we got to go looking for Treasure. The kids seemed to really enjoy it. There were not that many people in the park so we got to ride a lot of rides and only had to wait in line about 10 minutes until the last ride and it took 30 due to the pirates Parade getting over and it almost being the end of the night. After Space Mountain, it was time for the kids to say good bye to Disney World. Trey was crying so hard and he was trying to be so strong so that his uncle would be proud of him. Trey Bryan and I took a picture at the end of the night and he pulled himself together so that he would not be crying in the photo. (Which i can not find at this time so this one shows you how sad the moment was)

Bryan and I stayed an extra day and spend the day at animal kingdom and then went to Hollywood Studios to watch the light show and then we headed downtown for one last show at the comedy club. We really enjoyed out trip. Trey was Bryan's best friend and had to ride all of the rides with Bryan. If there was enough room on the ride like the Haunted Mansion then it was Bryan Marvin and Trey. They were very cute. Trey held Bryan's hand from the minute we got there to the minute we left.
